World Apostolate of Fatima in Kinshasa

The World Apostolate of Fatima was fully established in Kinshasa, the capital city of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Although the movement is present in the country since 1964, only after fifty years, it arrived in Kinshasa.

The Apostolate is now growing fast with many new members signing their Pledge to the Blessed Virgin Mary and consecrating their lives to Mary. Different activities are being carried out to promote the Fatima Message and draw more people to practice it. Eucharistic Adoration for Children

On October 3rd 2014, the International World Apostolate of Fatima is hosting the 12th Annual Worldwide Children’s Eucharistic Holy Hour, with TV broadcast both from the Little Chapel of the Apparitions in Fatima, Portugal and from the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, USA.

The World Apostolate of Fatima is gathering children and young people in prayer before Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament, on October 3rd 2014, around the world, following the example of the three Little Shepherds of Fatima, to pray for peace in the families and in the world.

Celebrations May 13 in Fatima

Last May 12 and 13, Mgr. Fouad Twal, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, presided in Fatima, the anniversary international pilgrimage, under the theme "Mother of the merciful love". In his homily he asked pilgrims to pray for peace and to work towards justice and dignity in the world, particularly in the Middle East. In large numbers, pilgrims from all parts of Portugal as well as from many different countries participated in these celebrations in honor of Our Lady of Fatima.

The “Marian Day” at the Vatican, on October 12-13 was one of the great pontifical events marked down on the calendar of celebrations of the Year of Faith. It brought to Rome hundreds of movements and institutions connoted with Marian devotion, among which the World Apostolate of Fatima was represented with a delegation of people from various countries.
